Supporting a child who is experiencing suicidal ideation can be an overwhelming, scary and isolating experience. It can be helpful to talk about the stressors and challenges with others who understand your experience.
We invite you to join our 8-week group for caregivers to find connection, community and nonjudgmental support. Group will be closed, which means no new members after week 2.
Crisis Support Services is Alameda County’s suicide prevention agency and offers a range of outpatient mental health services including the ORCA program, which provides therapy for Alameda County residents 25 and under who are experiencing thoughts of suicide. The group will be co-facilitated by ORCA Clinician, Jennifer Breunig, and Grief and Older Adult Clinician, Mimi Tsang.
Group scheduled to run in January 2026.
