The Crisis Support Services of Alameda County Clinical Training Program: Our clinical training program is a comprehensive, in-person internship for a cohort of graduate students of social work or counseling/clinical psychology. During the diverse training program, they have the opportunity to learn skills in individual, couples, family, and group counseling for children, adults and older adults.

Our Didactic Trainings: We offer weekly didactic trainings 10-12  Fridays September-May at CSS (6117 Martin Luther King Jr Way Oakland). These trainings are a key part of our internship program. We often explore topics related to suicide, grief and loss, older adults, and community mental health.

We aim for training to be interactive, informative, and integrative of our values of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. We believe that inviting community members to join enriches the experience of our interns, our staff, and our entire community. CEUs are often offered. We welcome you to join!
