We offer free and sliding-scale therapy groups for community members who live in Alameda county. Groups meet for 8 weeks and are offered three times a year during fall, winter, and spring. General Grief Group
This 8 week group is for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.
Suicide Loss Grief Group
This 8 week group is for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one due to suicide.
Survivors of Suicide Attempt (SOSA) Group
This 8 week group is for people who have survived a suicide attempt and are navigating coping, safety support, dignity, and hope.
Building Connections
This open drop-in group meets virtually and is for adults over 55 who wish to build social skills and connections.
Mental Health Providers as Grief Survivors
This free peer-support drop-in group meets virtually on the third Thursday of the month and is for mental health care providers to explore the impact of loss on professional and personal identities.
Community Grief Support Events
These one-time group meetings are available upon request to share dedicated space together to acknowledge loss and process grief of a sudden death of a community member. Clinicians will meet community members at their place of business or residence within Alameda county for 1-2 hours.

Therapy groups have a sliding-scale fee but no one is refused services for inability to pay.
