The clinical department at CSS holds weekly didactic training for students in our intern program. We invite interested community members to join!

In this training on Dementia, participants will:

1. Critically examine biases around aging and working with older adults in therapy

2. Describe 2 ways to distinguish between normal cognitive aging and mild cognitive impairment/dementia

3. Describe the 3 most common causes of cognitive decline and dementia in older adults

4. Articulate 4 strategies for working with cognitively impaired older adults in therapy
